Today's card is Santa and his littlest reindeer!  This card was fun to make, and I really enjoyed using my two favorite crafting items -- My Copics and my Cricut.  They are a great combination. I started with a standard 4.25" x 5.5 inch kraft cardstock card.  I went with a lot of layers on this one for depth.  The papers were "busy" so I wanted them to have a bit more depth and definition.

Today's card draws on a bit of a country quilt kind of flair to me.  It is made on white cardstock with a kraft cardstock layer for a border.  The card front is smooth white cardstock with four patterned papers from the 2008 Snowy Jo Imaginisce paper line.  I cut strips at just over 1" and then used the Fiskars Apron Lace Border punch on the edges.  I mounted them on the card face using Mono

The colorless blender is probably the most mis-named item in the Copic Marker Toolbox.  By saying blender, most people thing you can blend two colors together with it.  In reality the Colorless Blender is actually just the plain alcohol that is used to dilute the marker colors.  The blender "moves" the colors around.  It doesn't actually blend them. Paper Romance has another challenge this week.  It is to make an easel card.  I decided to do one using a Magnolia image that I received in an image swap.  I simply love Magnolias, but I don't own any of my own, yet. Here is my entry: I started with a 5.5" x 5.5" card base.  I cut my black background at 5" x 5".  I scored my card at 1" diagonal sections to form diamonds using my ScorPal.

Today's card is a Flower Pot Card. It was made using a single flower punch for the flower and the leaves. For Day 11, I made this sweet 16 birthday card. The side flap of this card actually a removable bookmark. I used my perforation blade on my cutter to make it easy to remove. The Butterfly Card was made with SEI papers, and a $1 stamp from the Michael's Bargain Bin. I love the glitter and glitz of the background paper. I snapped these pictures yesterday evening. Little Miss Hailey had her "Pup-er-a-tor" removed yesterday. In layman's terms, she was spayed. When she got home she was so groggy and in so much pain. Halloween 2009~Hailey isn't feeling too well this Halloween. She is in "season" right now, so we had to dress around her "panties". She rocked the baby look. As I mentioned on my previous post, there was a challenge on my scrap list to use professional photos for your layouts. I made this layout to complete a number of challenges issued on two of my scrapbooking lists. It incorporates ribbon woven into other ribbons, buttons used as decoration and as the center of my butterfly. I also used a professional photo (per one challenge). There are three or more flowers used including the use of bling. The journaling for this layout is hidden in a pocket behind the layout.

This is my first ever attempt at a waterfall card. The group I belong to, Memory Scrappers (see the blinkie on my sidebar) had a challenge to make an interactive card. The scrappin' bug has bitten! And well since Saturday I have completed a number of layouts.The challenge for this was to scrap a silly photo. This challenge was for a song title. This challenge was to use a 5x7 or larger photo.

These are some stamped images I made for trading with others. I love getting new images! It adds to my collection!The background papers on the bottom images are serendipity papers I made using mullberry papers on plain cardstock. They were so much fun to do, and so messy!
