Monkey Business Card

Paper Cutz Challenge #53  , is to make a card, LO or craft project using a digital, hand stamped or Cricut cut image of a monkey, skunk, squirrel or hedgehog and any colors you'd like.

I couldn't resist this challenge and the chance to make this "monkey business" card.  My little Puggle, Hailey, loves her monkey toy.  It is her very favorite.  She also happens to love bananas.  She really was my inspiration for this card.  If she could talk, she would ask her monkey toy to come "hang out" and have a banana with her.  I am sure it would be her version of a tea party.  It is funny each time I talk about her monkey card, she runs to see her monkey. ~LOL~

~*~Little Miss Haily Anna Marie Pugglesworth~*~

This card was created with the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge (say that 5 times fast ~LOL~).    I cut all of the layers twice and made two monkeys,  then cut the only head out with my craft knife using one of the monkeys.  I used 3D foam tape to "pop" the head up off the other complete monkey.  Next I added the googly eyes for the cuteness factor.  The banana is cute using glitter paper for the inside of the banana.  It is hard to see the shimmer in the photo (sorry).  I used textured cardstock for the banana peel and then added more dimension by using chalk inks on the edges.

The cardstock is from Making Memories and DCWV Basics.  The kraft cardstock is from Hobby Lobby.  The stamp is a Studio G $1 stamp from Micheal's.  The ink is Tsukineko Memento Ink in Bamboo Leaves.

I hope you like my entry~
